Yurako worries that Mao will blame her for Nanoka getting injured, however Hakubi agrees to keep his promise to bring her Daigo's head. Daigo checks in with Mao, hoping that he is not blamed for Nanoka's life-threatening injuries.

MAO Chapter 288
Nanoka and Mao stroll beneath the blossoms of the cherry trees as Mao admits that he is worried about Nanoka being endangered by being close to him. He asks her to return home until the Goko Clan business is finished, but they both decide to be honest with one another about their true feelings.

Airdate and Opening and Ending for Season 2 of Ranma 1/2 Announced
From the offical website, it was announced that the second season of Ranma 1/2 will debut on October 4th. Additionally, comments from Kazuhiko Inoue (Happosai), Akiko Mamiya (Cologne) and Akira Ishida (Gosunkugi) were shared with a contest giving away autographs of each actor also announced. The second season opening theme song will be "Wo Ai Ni" (ウォーアイニー) by Wednesday Campanella (水曜日のカンパネラ/Suiyobi no Kanpanera) and the ending theme will be "Panda Girl" (パンダガール) by Nishina (にしな).

MAO Chapter 287
Nanoka is wounded by Yurako's ayakashi and it seems as if Daigo may have engineered the misunderstanding to turn Mao against Yurako. Mao rushes Nanoka to Kamon for treatment as Yurako falls into despair.
